corporate training

Artpocket have developed a range of Team Building workshops designed to encourage colleagues to build on their relationships with fellow team members outside of their usual working environment. Participants can become more effective communicators, approach problems in a more creative way and explore how to make the most of limited resources.

We also tailor creative sessions to promote wellbeing.  Have a look at our workshops page to see the example activities.

We booked Artpocket to run a creative workshop for our team of architects as part of our CPD programme.
From our initial conversation, the Artpocket team demonstrated a thorough understanding of our brief and went on to design a carefully considered workshop that met our objectives and exceeded all expectations.
Our afternoon with them was a fun, imaginative and thoughtful exploration of the creative process.

Hannelore and Rebecca have created a relaxed and comfortable studio environment and are clearly experienced and skilled arts professionals, delivering high quality educational workshops.

I would thoroughly recommend them to any business or organisation seeking creative experiences to motivate and inspire their teams.

Why Create?

Art can provide a fun, creative way to get to know other members of your organisation.

Team activities can include being playful and explorative with the history of art and design. Mediums used will include paint, drawing tools, collage, mixed media, textiles and 3D form. A great way to learn more about art whilst interacting more with people in your working environment.

You do not have to be creative to be able to join in with this participatory art activity. Our experienced tutors will introduce you to your project and support you throughout your team building activity.  Individuals and the group will experience a real sense of achievement as your bespoke creative workshop progresses.

Some example workshops are outlined on this page,  but please contact us to discuss how we can tailor an activity to suit your organisations aims and requirements.

Example activities

Lines of Communication
Drawing workshop- through observational and blind drawing you will work together to develop communication skills, develop trust and understanding and refine linguistic skills.
Participants’ listening skills and awareness are put to the test in this challenging exercise, which reflects the piecemeal nature of much communication in organisations and offers participants an opportunity to explore more effective and positive approaches.

Creative Problem Solving
Overcome a series of creative challenges. Develop the ability to think outside the box, find new approaches and take confidence in decision making.

Deconstruct/reconstruct
Make the most from limited resources, use found objects to create an assemblage sculpture. Using found objects will stretch the imagination and encourage your team to think 'green', repurpose and recycle.

Collaborate & Create
Come together as a team to create an individual and creative group mantra/motto visually through a range of media and techniques .

Art Class for wellbeing
A
rtpocket runs workshops in a wide range of art activities, so why not give your team the opportunity to try their hand at print making, drawing, bookbinding, embroidery or jewellery making? We plan sessions in such a way that no one needs to be a skilled artist to enjoy themselves and produce satisfying results. An ideal option for a motivation day or team reward.
