Seed, Soil, Sun Project- In celebration of plant life.

Would you like to learn how to make images using the sun? Cyanotype was the first method of non- camera image reproduction to record botanical specimens using non- toxic chemicals and the power of the sun to gain simple image shape. Artist Natasha Day will lead this celebration of the life of humble and essential plant kingdom, reawakening our observation skills to make beautiful and unexpected compositions using found plants.
You will also learn a little about the interesting history of this technique. While waiting for the prints to take there is an additional option to make plant related collage with dried leaves. All materials provided but If you wish you can bring found papers and text from home. To take home resultant prints to frame for gifts or to keep safely please bring something to take work home in. A large A4 envelope and a reused plastic bag is advised.
