Paul Patrick Fenner

Paul Fenner graduated from Newcastle University in 2011 and the Royal Drawing School in 2012. He received the Richard Ford Award in 2012 spending two months studying Spanish painting at the Prado in Madrid. Paul travelled to India in 2013 to undertake the IIFA teaching residency in Modinagar, Uttar Pradesh and Sanskriti Kendra New Delhi. Paul lives and works in Norwich, is a tutor at the Royal Drawing School and an Associate Artist at SCVA.  

Paul is a painter whose figurative images result from the always messy and complex interaction of memory, the artist’s immediate surroundings, ideas about human beings, other images and the thickness of the painting process itself. ​
