Rachel Wright is a visual artist based in Norwich. Primarily working in the medium of photography, her work centres on finding beauty in the unexpected, the overlooked and the seemingly ordinary; the transformation of the everyday into art through the camera’s lens. Impermanence, imperfection and intangibility are constant themes in her work, along with the natural world and the complex relationship between humans and nature. Rachel has exhibited her work widely in the UK and around the world.

Rachel has long been interested in the connections between creativity and wellbeing, and the power of art to make positive change. She has completed training in participatory photography with PhotoVoice, and in 2019-20 she studied the Introduction to Arts & Wellbeing course at Artpocket. She is currently a student on Artpocket’s Postgraduate Programme in Creative Practice. Rachel runs our popular Magic in the Mundane and Finding Your Focus online and studio-based photography courses.
